About The Position

As a Customer Sr Analyst you will support the Kroger field sales team by gathering, analyzing and reporting sales related data, managing promotional planning process and play a key role in trade spend management, monitor sales trends and find opportunities or challenges that enable team's delivery of volume and AMPS results for assigned Clorox Customers/Categories.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience analyzing sales data
  • BSc in Business, Analytics or related experience.
  • Proficient on key sales analytical tools
  • Solid understanding of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self driven

Nice To Haves

  • CPG company experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with Kroger is a plus
  • Clorox external (Field/Customer) or equivalent experience
  • Clorox internal (Sales Planning) experience helpful
  • Consultative/Solution selling

Responsibilities

  • Manage promotional planning process, lead accurate completion of Kroger Trade Point contracts, translate them into Exceedra for internal budgeting, and play a key role in trade spend management
  • Build and update sophisticated reports for retailer and customer team.
  • Independently capture and gather data to interpret and identify business drivers and opportunities.
  • Engage and interact with buyers and other key retailer contacts while driving execution of the field team's business plan.
  • Mine data to identify volume and sales opportunities that build proactive customer strategies.
  • Provide reporting and recommendations in support of business decisions or initiatives.
  • Use appropriate tools, processes, resources to support Customer team.
  • Communicate findings with wide variety of stakeholders including field sales teams, sales planning teams, retailer contacts and Clorox leadership.
