Customer security engineer (pentest)
About The Position
Aikido is hiring a Customer Security Engineer focused on penetration testing to guide customers through white-box tests and help them get maximum value from the product. The role serves as the primary technical point of contact before, during, and after each test, providing white-glove delivery and ensuring smooth, high-quality engagements. The engineer answers technical questions about test setup, scope, and results; validates potential false positives; and helps customers prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities in ways that fit their architecture and development workflows. The role also works closely with the AI pentesting team, sharing customer insights to improve product accuracy, usability, and impact.
Requirements
- Hands-on penetration-testing experience.
- Comfort working directly with customers.
- Strong application or infrastructure security skills.
- Clear communication skills, with a technical but human approach.
Nice To Haves
- OSCP, OSWE, CREST, or a similar certification.
Responsibilities
