We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Route Service Representative to support clients throughout the Greater Baltimore area, including Towson and Owings Mills. In this role, you’ll provide timely deliveries across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., while building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old (required for vehicle insurance eligibility)
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to meet all pre-employment DOT physical requirements
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and transporting products to and from customer locations
• Demonstrated customer service excellence, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to comply with company appearance and dress code standards
• Superior work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and commitment
• Meet the physical requirements of the position
• Work collaboratively and uphold the company's core values of honesty and integrity

Nice To Haves

• a college degree is preferred
• Additional training or education in sales or business is a plus
• May have prior experience in fast-paced environments, such as production, manufacturing, assembly, or retail

Responsibilities

• Manage and service your assigned route throughout the Towson and Owings Mills areas by providing exceptional support to existing customers while introducing tailored product solutions that help their businesses succeed.
• Leverage your customer service and sales skills to expand your route organically through upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
• Keep invoices organized and up to date while conducting routine inventory checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction by recommending products and services that align with their operational needs.
• Take initiative in renewing service agreements, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to continued revenue growth.
• Perform all duties with professionalism and a strong focus on workplace safety.
• Adhere to all driving regulations, company policies, and operational procedures while representing Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply on the road.
• Serve as a trusted ambassador for Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply by demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and exceptional customer care in every interaction.
