CUSTOMER QUALITY INTERN Job Description: The Customer Quality Intern will support the Quality team by managing customer documentation, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring timely communication of quality-related materials. This role provides hands-on experience with document management systems, customer interactions, and quality processes within a fast-paced environment. THIS 10-WEEK INTERNSHIP WILL BE BASED OUT OF OUR ROSEMONT, IL OFFICE.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Comfortable learning new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer documentation within platforms such as TraceGains and other document management portals.
  • Replace expired documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Upload requested documents and certifications to customer portals in a timely manner.
  • Distribute documents, audit reports, and quality-related materials directly to customers when portal upload is not applicable.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of location and item connections within internal systems.
  • Assist with organizing and tracking documentation to ensure completeness and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather required documents and resolve customer requests.
