About The Position

The primary role of this internship position is to assist the Process and Quality Department in Norwell with day-to-day functions / issues, short and long-term projects focused on driving improvements to our Process Control and Quality System upgrades.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program with a Major in Engineering.
• Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
• Thinking outside the box for solving problems, duties and tasks of the position.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects for multiple brands simultaneously.
• Ability to work within a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to correctly make decisions involving customer issues/ problems including when to escalate the problem
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the documentation of quality systems and testing procedures.
• Assist with analysis of current quality themes – shape and yield improvements
• Documentation of current processes with a focus on quality documentation in cymbal making.
• Assist Process Engineers with equipment capability assessments and process control setting definition.
• Participates in cross-functional team projects as assigned.
