About The Position

This role supports customer enrollment, payment operations, reporting, and system administration activities. As the pilot continues to expand, this position will play a critical role in ensuring accurate customer onboarding, validating eligibility requirements, maintaining enrollment data integrity, and supporting payment processes for third-party partners involved in customer recruitment. The Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for the pilot’s automated enrollment and billing platform, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain system functionality, resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data accuracy. The position also supports operational reporting, billing reconciliation, and performance tracking associated with pilot enrollment activities.

Requirements

  • Four (4) or more years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, graphs, and large-scale data analysis.
  • Experience working with large datasets containing hundreds of thousands of records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Experience with reporting, tracking, payment processing, reconciliation, and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting customer programs, billing operations, or payment processes within a utility or similarly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP billing and payment systems.
  • Experience using analytical and reporting tools such as Power BI, SAS, or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of operational metrics tracking and performance measurement.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and process customer enrollment applications submitted by account management teams.
  • Perform eligibility assessments for prospective program participants.
  • Coordinate customer enrollment activities with third-party vendors and confirm enrollment status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the program’s enrollment and billing platform.
  • Monitor system performance, validate data accuracy, and partner with platform providers to resolve defects, implement enhancements, and maintain system reliability.
  • Oversee manual enrollment processes for Automation Service Providers (ASPs).
  • Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to track program performance and enrollment metrics.
  • Monitor and reconcile billing and payment activities, including compensation tracking for third-party recruitment partners.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
  • Track key program metrics, including customer enrollment counts, megawatts enrolled, beneficiary versus non-beneficiary participation, and billing status.
  • Support budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting activities as needed.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve business processes and drive operational efficiency.
