About The Position

Responsible for handling all customer inquiries, requests, complaints, etc. involving the establishment and maintenance of electric service. Determine, prepare and/or perform demand, load factor, projected revenue, proper metering equipment, rate application, service deposits, agreements for electric extensions, application of tariffs, rules and regulations codes and standards, secure easements, communicate company programs, service inspections. Applying technical expertise and company construction standards, design and application standards, procedures and guides, plan, design, prepare sketches, cost estimates and necessary orders for the construction and maintenance of all electric transmission and distribution facilities. Act as coordinator for work orders and be responsible for coordinating activities in order to provide service to the customer in a timely manner.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science from an accredited engineering or technological school
Curriculums must be from an ABET or equivalent accredited engineering or technical school or program
A valid US driver's license
Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required
Must prove they are: (1) a citizen or national of the USA; OR (2) a lawful permanent resident of the United States (Non-Conditional Permanent I-551 / Green Card / Permanent Resident Card holder); OR (3) a citizen, national, or permanent resident of a “Generally Authorized” destination on the attached list and not also a citizen, national, permanent resident of any country not listed; OR (4) a “Protected Individual” under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3)).
