About The Position

LangChain is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to own the narrative around their customers' successes in the market. This role involves identifying and interviewing customers who are building innovative AI agents, producing compelling content such as case studies and videos, and leveraging these stories to drive pipeline, close deals, and shape the perception of agent engineering. The manager will also establish programs for customer references, advocacy, and customer councils to ensure a strong customer voice is available for launches, briefings, and deals. This is a foundational role where the individual will help define the customer marketing function at LangChain, working with remarkable customer logos and real-world production stories.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in customer marketing, product marketing, or customer-led content marketing with a proven track record of owning the customer story motion end-to-end.
  • Experience building reference, advocacy, or customer-champion programs from scratch or significantly improving existing ones.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to transform interviews into compelling stories for technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfort engaging with technical customers, including understanding and discussing agent architectures, evaluations, and deployment patterns.
  • A bias for action and shipping, prioritizing momentum and volume while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across functions (sales, PMM, comms, product, CS).
  • Genuine curiosity about customer use cases in the agent space.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance workflow effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, or technical platforms targeting engineers or technical leaders.
  • Experience with launch motions, including early access programs, beta cohorts, and customer involvement in launch moments.
  • Comfort with multi-format content production (video, podcasts, conference talks, executive spotlights).
  • Familiarity with the LLM/agent developer ecosystem.
  • Experience marketing to both startup and enterprise customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer story pipeline end-to-end, including sourcing customers, conducting interviews, drafting narratives, and producing content in various formats (case studies, videos, executive spotlights, conference talks, podcasts).
  • Build and manage reference and advocacy programs to equip sales with relevant references and provide customers with opportunities to represent LangChain.
  • Facilitate customer involvement in key company moments such as product launches, events, analyst briefings, and press opportunities.
  • Partner with sales to leverage customer stories and proof points to influence deal progression.
  • Collaborate with field and community marketing to develop customer events and programs that foster community.
  • Establish a voice-of-customer feedback loop, synthesizing insights for product, PMM, and comms teams.
  • Develop and implement metrics for measuring customer-influenced pipeline, reference delivery, story production, and advocacy participation.
