About The Position

We're looking for a Customer Marketing Manager who can own customer-facing marketing strategy across our business. This role leads cross-functional initiatives spanning demand generation, trade shows, media management, agency coordination, and channel-specific marketing execution. You'll mentor and manage a team, drive results across multiple customer segments (Club Store, Grocery, Foodservice, C-Store, Industrial), and act as the bridge between Sales, Product, and external partners. You'll have a direct impact on how customers experience our brand - from the first touchpoint at a trade show to the campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue. You'll shape strategy, and own execution across the full marketing spectrum.

Requirements

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on building and maintaining relationships to meet customer needs.
  • Insights & Brand Experience: Constantly seek to understand what is influencing the current customer & consumer needs. Channel assessments, strategic positioning and segmentation to deliver customer differentiation & success
  • Media & Marketing Planning: Effective agency management, project briefing and campaign strategy & execution.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and marketing measurement to inform decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Direct management of marketing team (Marketing Assistant Manager & Marketing Specialist)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, sitting, and driving.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required
  • 7+ years in marketing, with direct people management experience
  • Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage or related industries. Trade Marketing, B2B Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Customer Marketing experience preferred
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers.
  • Strong business acumen with data-driven mindset - track performance, optimize based on results, and can speak to ROI with confidence
  • Creative Storytelling, strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Highly creative, self-motivated and detail-oriented. Comfortable with a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong project management - juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping the ball.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional sales leaders and customers to develop and implement fully integrated marketing programs that align with growth goals.
  • Build marketing plans, manage, and execute strategies that enhance the brand and drive sales growth through customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention.
  • Create tailored marketing programs for key customer channels (Club, Grocery, Foodservice, C-Store, Industrial) that deliver on mutual growth objectives.
  • Build and deliver customer-specific, compelling presentations and marketing materials that support the launch and adoption of products across channels.
  • Leverage customer, category and channel insights to grow Bake'n Joy share and achieve business objectives.
  • Foster effective and productive internal and external relationships with Sales, Sales Ops, R&D and Demand Planning.
  • Maintain brand consistency while adapting messaging to resonate with different buyer personas.
  • Inform execution of media strategy and campaign programming across digital, print, and industry-specific channels.
  • Lead end-to-end trade show execution: pre-show planning, booth strategy, lead capture, post-show follow-up.
  • Manage vendor relationships, logistics, and on-site coordination for major industry events.
  • Track and manage campaigns & initiatives against a budget, timeline, and ROI for continuous optimization
  • Advise the development and execution of social purpose strategy and initiatives that align with brand values and resonate with customers and stakeholders.
