About The Position

Auxly is seeking a Customer Marketing Coordinator on a full-time basis. This role supports the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager by bridging the gap between marketing strategy and in-store execution, ensuring brand initiatives are effectively brought to life at retail. The successful candidate brings a blend of strategic and tactical trade marketing experience, with strengths in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and retail program execution.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, sales support, or a related role. Experience in CPG or cannabis is an asset.
  • Retail & Merchandising Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail environments, store operations, and merchandising principles.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and drive cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Attention to Detail & Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, and external retail partners.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle) is an asset.
  • Adaptability & Ownership: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and demonstrates a high level of accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead execution of customer takeover programs across national & regional retail banners.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to understand promotional plans, featured SKUs, and account-specific requirements.
  • Translate program strategy into actionable retail execution plans across store networks.
  • Conduct regular in-market visits with Sales to evaluate in-store execution and ensure strong brand presence.
  • Develop and deliver merchandising guidance and tools to drive consistency and elevate in-store presence.
  • Perform store audits and gather insights to identify opportunities and inform future program optimization.
  • Customize in-store display solutions based on each store’s footprint, merchandising constraints, and available assets.
  • Develop tailored asset lists and execution plans by store or store cluster.
  • Act as the key marketing partner supporting Sales on retail program execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Legal) to ensure assets are delivered on time and compliant.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives tied to retail programs and innovation launches.
  • Manage the asset portal for trade marketing assets, create new inventory items (both physical and digital).
  • Maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials and provide regular updates to stakeholders on stock levels and material availability.
