Customer Manager

California Capital Insurance•Reno, NV

About The Position

At Capital Insurance Group (CIG), our Customer Managers play a unique and highly strategic role in shaping the customer experience. Rather than focusing on a single insurance product or line of business, Customer Managers serve as trusted advisors and advocates, helping customers navigate complex business, risk, and insurance challenges while delivering solutions tailored to their evolving needs. The Customer Manager serves as the primary owner and steward of customer relationships within an assigned industry Practice alignment. Unlike traditional insurance roles that are organized around specific products or lines of business, the Customer Manager is responsible for understanding and managing the overall needs of the customer and ensuring that CIG delivers a coordinated, comprehensive solution to support customer success. This role develops deep expertise in the assigned customer segment, including the operational, financial, regulatory, and risk-related challenges customers face. The Customer Manager works across the organization to align insurance products, risk management services, loss control resources, claims insights, technology solutions, and other value-added services to address customer needs and improve outcomes. The Customer Manager serves as the voice of the customer within the organization, helping ensure strategic decisions, product offerings, and service capabilities remain aligned with customer expectations and emerging market needs.
