About The Position

The Project Manager / “Chief of Staff (CoS)” will assist in managing strategic priorities and lead operational/management systems for the Leadership Team (LT). This associate will support the Head of Customer Management and extended leadership team as we execute priorities. This critical position will serve to enable leaders to execute strategic priorities while ensuring operational rigor. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining strategic areas including: 1) Strategy, 2) Executive Support and Team Culture, and 3) Operational Excellence. This associate will report into the Field Chief of Staff Office, and collaborate with the team to provide best-in-class support to the Field leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner with executives to assist in driving the strategic agenda
  • Highly collaborative; has excellent communication skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with an understanding of, and appreciation for, how the sales and client management “field” operates
  • Highly-motivated, self-starter who can work autonomously and can independently take initiative
  • Proven ability to lead moderate sized cross functional teams to drive complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction
  • Proven experience in operating with discretion when handling highly sensitive issues
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project Management or Process Management
  • At least 4 years of experience building and influencing strategy

  • 3+ years experience in a sales or client management role
  • 3+ years of experience serving in a Chief of Staff or Project Management role in a large, complex and matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the LT to drive the forward leaning direction for the team and create a cross functional view of the destination.
  • Facilitate the creation of presentations that articulate the strategy to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Play an integral role in enhancing our intentional, team-oriented organizational culture and facilitate a management system to ensure organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives to address associate engagement strategies
  • Ensure alignment across the organization through strategically designed updates around strategy and progress, often in partnership with the communications team and CoS office
  • Partner closely with field effectiveness colleagues to ensure streamlined orchestration of activities such as LT meetings, Offsite planning, All Hands Events, and LT events
  • Support and in some cases lead moderate to large horizontal priorities and special projects across the team.
  • Ensure the right metrics are in place to track and manage priorities, outcomes, risks, budgets, etc.
