Customer Logistics Representative
About The Position
Responsible for the completion of all functional requirements making daily use of SAP, other computerized and non-computerized systems to accomplish Company business plans and satisfy all customer requirements. Responsibilities are achieved without jeopardizing company values, environmental, health and safety regulations, with minimal direct supervision. Depending on area assignment, this position provides support for either packaged goods in the warehouse area or bulk goods in the tank farm area. The position is expected to maintain regulatory compliance for logistics activities with all governing bodies including but not limited to the Federal Railroad Administration, State and US Department of Transportation, State and US Environmental Protection Agencies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
Responsibilities
- Performs day-to-day Logistics Operations which includes the accountability for the planning and scheduling of transportation equipment and finished goods inventory in support of the business demand.
- Possess and demonstrates knowledge of the interaction between supply chain functions
- Utilizes various reporting tools, SAP, Sample Manager, IIMS, SHIPCSX, Rail Manager, warehouse management system and other systems as required in the successful completion of the job functions.
- Raw materials received are inventoried and receipted.
- Coordinates shipment requirements with Plant Manufacturing, Distribution, R&D and Laboratory.
- Exception reporting and resolution on any shipment delays or cancelations.
- Compliance with plant safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- All Training Requirements are completed within the allowable time restraints.
