Customer Engagement Specialist

The Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) is responsible for developing and managing a database of leads and contacts to generate prospects for the Field Sales team and enhance customer loyalty. They will work closely with the Communications and Marketing teams to select the right contacts for campaigns and segment accounts based on customer lifetime value. The CES will also research and enrich customer profiles, identify strategic accounts, and support business strategies and marketing initiatives. Additionally, they will collaborate with distribution partners and measure successful sales lead conversions. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role are required.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of our customers to provide qualified sales leads and insights to grow sales across the business.

Develop and manage the sales leads process from service interactions, tradeshows, digital marketing activities, and other customer interactions/touchpoints.

Research and connect available customer data points in CRM and other digital tools to create, enhance, and nurture leads.

Search customer databases to find new prospects, target strategic accounts, and enrich existing customer and account information.

Research and enrich customer profiles by combining data from the CRM with other resources.

Identify and cultivate strategic accounts to build relationships and leverage existing investments.

Support Communications and Marketing groups with business strategies and marketing initiatives in target industries by building and managing account and contact databases.

Create focused reports of customer and account lists for stakeholder organizations (Communications, Marketing, Sales, etc.).

Coordinate with distribution partners to share leads and prospects to mutually grow sales.

Measure and report on successful Sales Lead conversions.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Experience leveraging marketing strategies and techniques to enhance customer insights
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, data-mining for marketing, and prospecting
• Practical application of business reporting tools, including report writing and visualizations
• Experience in MicroStrategy and/or Salesforce preferred
• Able to execute cross-functionally in changing environments
• Enthusiasm towards new strategies and procedures
• Self-starter with a drive to get things done
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion
• Ability to set priorities and perform simultaneous tasks
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to occasionally travel

• Must be able to travel in vehicles for up to 10 hours
