Customer Enablement Manager

Nooks•San Francisco, CA
•$140,000 - $175,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Nooks is hiring its first Customer Enablement professional to build Nooks University from the ground up. This senior, self-directed individual contributor will create learning experiences that help customers onboard independently, gain confidence using Nooks, and continue learning as the product evolves. The role has broad ownership and hands-on execution, including setting priorities, creating content, and establishing the foundations of the customer education program. The role is preferably hybrid, working three days per week from Nooks’ San Francisco office to collaborate closely with leadership and product teams. The person will work across Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing, and Support, and may represent Nooks externally when teaching customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of customer enablement experience at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Prior experience building and launching customer-facing enablement or education programs, from an early idea through to a functioning customer experience.
  • A track record as a self-managed individual contributor who can define priorities, make decisions, and deliver independently.
  • Hands-on ability to create product walkthrough videos and clear learning content, and confidence running customer enablement sessions.
  • Familiarity with Loom, Camtasia, or comparable video software.
  • Experience evaluating enablement vendors and implementing learning platforms, with sound judgment about choosing tools that fit the customer experience.
  • Clear communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to keep educational content accurate as a product changes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Nooks University, including learning paths and certification tracks for admins, managers, and reps.
  • Create accessible, role-specific self-service onboarding to help customers get started with less one-to-one support, especially in the downmarket segment.
  • Create concise product walkthroughs, tutorials, and Loom-style videos; use existing knowledge-base materials and keep content current as the product UI changes.
  • Develop an ongoing learning approach to help existing customers adopt new features, refresh skills, and get more value from Nooks.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing, and Support to identify learning needs, validate content, and connect education to customer and product priorities.
  • Run customer enablement sessions and represent Nooks externally when needed.
  • Evaluate vendors and tools for the program over time, especially a learning management system (LMS).
  • Use customer feedback and learning engagement to improve content, certification paths, and the self-service experience.
