About The Position

We direct security projects and tackle technical problems to ensure our customers remain protected. We build technical resources, influence product features, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of excellence. We connect Cisco security tools to customer goals to deliver measurable results! We are the technical backbone that ensures our security portfolio performs reliably in every environment. We collaborate with engineering, product teams, and field staff to bridge the gap between development and deployment. We engage customers and partners to verify security plans, manage technology shifts, and solve infrastructure challenges. We work across boundaries to ensure that our security solutions are integrated, effective, and aligned with client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in complex technical environments.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to ambiguous situations.
  • Bilingual Fluency Canadian French + English

  • Proficiency in Identity & Policy (Cisco ISE, Duo), Network Security (TrustSec, Secure Firewall), Threat Intelligence (Secure Network Analytics, Secure Endpoint), Cloud & Edge Security (Umbrella, SD-WAN), and clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Resolve: We build secure systems and resolve critical technical issues to maintain high availability and performance!
  • Optimize and Update: We debug product issues, implement feature updates, and fine-tune configurations to meet specific business requirements.
  • Share Knowledge: We draft technical documentation and conduct training sessions to share information and elevate the skills of the entire team.
  • Deploy and Scale: We deploy Cisco security products, optimize their integration, and scale solutions to meet evolving threat landscapes.
  • Mentor and Grow: We train peers, build technical skills within our group, and guide the professional development of our fellow engineers.
