About The Position

Westpac is New Zealand’s market leader in delivering complex payments, technology and data solutions to business banking, institutional and government customers. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Britomart, Auckland. The Customer Delivery Manager will manage the delivery of complex customer projects for both new and existing Corporate and Institutional customers. This includes new to bank onboarding, digital and expense management platforms, and large-scale change. The role requires a deep knowledge of transaction banking and a focus on customer needs, leading customers through the project lifecycle, managing stakeholders, and meeting project milestones. The position also involves supporting and collaborating within the Transactional Banking (TB) business and wider Institutional & Business Banking (IBB) to execute the TB strategy, ensuring alignment with IBB goals, financial objectives, and sound risk management.

Requirements

  • Customer and delivery experience in complex organisations.
  • Customer centricity, curiosity and drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • A strong understanding of transactional banking products, services and client needs, with the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver tailored solutions.
  • A strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
  • A results-oriented approach with the ability to identify opportunities, drive growth and refer these to the Transactional Relationship Team.
  • Understanding of sound risk management practices and the ability to apply them in day-to-day decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders to influence outcomes positively.
