Our product range spans powders, ready-to-drink beverages, bars, and capsules – formats designed for convenience and globally available through e-commerce, specialty retailers, and mass-market channels. The Customer Business Manager, Foodservice is responsible for sales and execution of Foodservice category initiatives across Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s entire portfolio including coverage of traditional Foodservice broadline RTM (PFG, Sysco, US Foods, etc) at the regional and local level. As the CBM, Foodservice, you will develop customer initiatives and owns the execution of those initiatives through the broker team and local distributor teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years or more experience
  • Existing knowledge of Foodservice channels & business segments at all levels: Commercial Chains, Lodging, Corporate Dining, Healthcare, Higher Education and Amusement Recreation.
  • Current Foodservice customer relationships at regional level Compass, Sodexo, Aramark, Vistar Key Account Managers
  • Knowledge of “New Item Set Up” within the Broadliner systems: Sysco, US Food’s, Gordons Foodservice, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and close sales calls with a focus on value-added selling activities for specified accounts
  • Execute in-outlet activation, sell and implement campaigns, and sell promotional programming into existing accounts
  • Support activation of the Foodservice “Protein Boost” strategy
  • Qualify and prospect new business leads with broker partners to secure new customers and execute channel penetration
  • Acquire specified number of accounts based on assigned plan
  • Review business results with Key regional customers
  • Track daily, weekly and monthly activity and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations
  • Work with cross-functional teams as needed to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrate a positive and customer-focused attitude and manage time effectively
  • Support contract renewal negotiations as needed
  • Executes the Foodservice sales agenda managing broker partners to achieve goals.
  • Flawlessly execute growth strategies, tactics and executional plans, facilitating the development of broker team capabilities by providing value added information, selling stories and category management initiatives to optimize sales results and participate in key customer sales calls.
