About The Position

Columbia Gorge Toyota & Honda is seeking a motivated Customer Appointment Specialist to join their sales department. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in communication, are quick on the phone, and thrive in a high-volume environment. As the first point of contact for potential vehicle buyers, the specialist will focus on connecting customers with the sales team, managing communication via calls, texts, and emails, and scheduling appointments. This is not a traditional sales role; the focus is on creating a positive first impression and getting customers to the dealership, not on closing deals or negotiating prices. The position is part of the Columbia Gorge Motors Toyota Sales BDC team and requires strong multitasking, computer, and customer service skills, with an emphasis on professionalism, follow-through, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails
  • Respond quickly to customer inquiries from our website and marketing campaigns
  • Build interest and excitement around vehicles and availability
  • Set and confirm appointments for customers to visit the dealership
  • Follow up with customers who have visited or shown interest
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff
  • Manage customer communication through inbound and outbound calls
  • Schedule sales and service appointments
  • Ensure a positive customer experience
