About The Position

Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace company, is seeking a Customer Administrator to support all stages of the contract lifecycle, including quotation, review, execution, and follow-up. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies and customer requirements across aerospace OEM and Tier-1 accounts. The Customer Administrator serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external customers, supporting efficient contract execution and delivering a high level of customer service throughout the bid-to-production lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years in administrative support or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of purchase orders, contracts, and order processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through.
  • U.S. Person status required (ITAR environment).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to special processes (NDT, coatings, heat treat, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with contract terms and order tracking is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key commercial interface for assigned customer accounts.
  • Support the Customer Services Manager in building relationships with customer engineering, supply chain, and program teams.
  • Assist with ongoing customer communication and coordination.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and coordinate internally for effective resolution.
  • Lead or support the end-to-end quotation process.
  • Ensure technical data is accurately captured and maintained within company systems.
  • Track quotes, provide status updates, and manage deadlines.
  • Support new part introductions (NPI) from quote acceptance through production kickoff.
  • Facilitate alignment between Engineering, Operations, and Customer Services teams.
  • Participate in kickoff meetings, customer reviews, and internal readiness discussions.
  • Track project milestones and support customer-facing updates as required.
  • Gather customer feedback on pricing, lead times, and quality performance.
  • Partner with Cost and Estimating teams to provide insights on trends and forecasts.
  • Support the Customer Services Manager with market and customer intelligence.
  • Participate in SIOP, demand planning, and strategic planning activities as needed.
  • Manage and track customer-related technical data, including drawings, specifications, and revisions.
  • Support Customer Administrator II and broader team with commercial and delivery activities.
