About The Position

Provide overall management and direction in the areas of accounting with a strong focus on customer relationships while performing various accounting functions regarding customer billing and account reconciliation.

Requirements

Understanding accounting best practices.
Data entry skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Strong mastery of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to learn new computer systems.
Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
High School Diploma required.
2-4 years as an Accountant.
Proficient in Excel.
Flexibility and adaptability, with the skills to relate well throughout all levels of the company.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and process daily ticket batches related to propane and fuel deliveries.
Record account corrections and general ledger entries for customer accounts.
Review daily fuel prices based on the industry market.
Processing customer payments and preparing daily deposits.
Process weekly freight billing to a select group of customers.
Accurately generate invoices for weekly product deliveries.
Inputting annual propane and diesel contracts based on the needs of our customers.
Handle customer phone calls, input orders, and assist with account questions while providing excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
