About The Position
Join a growing, family-owned fuel company with strong values and a great team culture! Buell Fuel | Center State Propane is a fast-growing, family-owned business headquartered in Deansboro, NY. We deliver competitively priced propane, heating oil, diesel, and gasoline across upstate New York, serving residential, commercial, agricultural, municipal, and wholesale customers. We’re looking for a Full time Customer Account Administrator at our Waterville office—someone dependable, professional, and motivated to grow with us!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and teamwork
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of customer service experience (preferred)
- Experience in the fuel delivery, propane, or heating industry a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional customer support in person, by phone, and by email
- Set up, update, and maintain accurate residential and commercial customer account records.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Handle administrative data entry, reporting, and reconciliation for company assets, purchasing, and stock
- Support team members and contribute to a positive office environment
- Bill and invoice work orders and ensure all mandatory safety reporting’s policies and procedures are documented and followed
