About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Custom Order Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, ambitious, and possess a thorough understanding of the custom jewelry industry. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end Custom Order Process, maintaining effective communication with vendors and customers, and ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the jewelry industry.
• 1+ years of experience specifically with custom jobs.
• Basic understanding and ability to read CAD's.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• High sense of urgency and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage special order requests from start to finish, serving as the key point person for customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitors order statuses, ensures quoted time frames are maintained, and addresses any potential issues that may arise.
• Calculate and quote prices.
• Accurately submit and verify custom orders with vendors within specified timeframes.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely confirmation, delivery, and proper invoicing and payments.
• Facilitate vendor compliance with product quality and on-time delivery standards.
• Cultivate a positive customer experience (internal and external stakeholders) throughout the entire process.
