About The Position

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an entry-level Production Associate to produce and package component trays, kits, and other packages for customer orders. The associate assembles, inspects, and prepares products for shipping while helping ensure quality standards and production targets are met. The role may involve rotating among production-line tasks and, if required, operating embroidery machines and processing garments. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to use a computer to locate information and print reports.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
Ability to work well with others to accomplish team objectives.
High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Receive, verify, sort, store, and process materials, including fabrics and trims.
Handle work orders and calculate material requirements.
Assemble trays, kits, or packages according to specifications and rotate among production-line tasks.
If required, operate embroidery machines and process garments.
Measure, fold, and pack finished goods using the correct documentation and packaging materials.
Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Prepare and pack finished goods for delivery.
Maintain and operate production equipment.
Keep workstations and work areas organized and clean, and follow safety rules.
Meet quality and productivity targets.
Assist other departments as needed to help meet or exceed production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
