3rd Shift Custodian
About The Position
Gordon Food Service is hiring a Custodian to help maintain a clean and organized distribution center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The role includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and emptying trash. The position works in a distribution center where temperatures may range from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Starting pay is $19.60 per hour, including a $1.00-per-hour shift premium. Candidates must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 18, communicate in English, and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanner information, signage, company website information related to benefits and updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
- Successfully pass a drug test and a background check.
- Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
