About The Position
The Custodian maintains buildings at Gordon Food Service’s distribution center in Wyoming, Michigan, supporting clean and organized operations. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. The role works in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The listed schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits and updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
