About The Position

The 3rd Shift Custodian works at Gordon Food Service’s distribution center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, maintaining buildings to support clean, organized operations. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and emptying trash. The role requires working in distribution-center temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Starting pay is $19.60 per hour, including a $1.00-per-hour shift premium.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
