About The Position
GRBS is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join their team at Wayland Union School District. This is a full-time, second shift position, Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekend per month. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of school facilities, contributing to a safe and positive learning environment for students and staff. Requirements
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
- Leadership experience required.

- Reliable transportation to and from work each day.
- Individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment due to Michigan public schools requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent attendance.
- Adhere to GRBS processes.
- Communicate respectfully with all individuals.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks according to building maps and shift requirements.
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Performing other cleaning tasks as assigned.
