About The Position

GRBS is seeking a full-time LEAD Custodian for Wayland Union Schools. This position requires leadership experience, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork and customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, hard-working, and has reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. GRBS has over 100 years of experience and is committed to the growth and development of its team members, fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process
• Finish the job with GRBS tools
• Complete 360 communication
• Lead with integrity and humility
• Complete Building Walkdowns
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
