About The Position

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a part-time School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment at its facility in Moorestown, New Jersey. The custodian works with staff and students to meet cleanliness standards and provide good service. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, either 6:00–10:00 p.m. or 7:00–11:00 p.m., at 110 East Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057. The pay rate is $19.00–$20.00 per hour.

The role involves cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, including classrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces; following safety and infection-control procedures; and responding to paging alerts and customer requests. Employees must complete scheduled assignments and report equipment or supply needs and malfunctions to supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift and carry, and push and pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas in accordance with quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during cleaning tasks.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms, common spaces, and other areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related assigned duties.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection-control procedures and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
