About The Position

Prestige Maintenance USA is hiring a Porter/Custodian to help keep customer facilities clean, organized, and safe. The role includes general cleaning and restroom care, waste and recycling removal, supply restocking, and floor care, including stripping and waxing. The custodian uses equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers, and performs assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations. Tasks are directed by the Lead Custodian or management. The position requires following safety guidelines and company policies for safety, customer service, and proper attire, and working independently or as part of a team. The position is offered full-time or part-time on the first shift, with weekend work and a schedule listed as 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., seven days a week. Relocation is not provided, and travel is not required.

Ability to safely and effectively operate small power tools.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Keep facilities clean and safe.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other general cleaning.
Remove trash and recycling.
Restock supplies, empty wastebaskets, and replace liners as needed.
Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals.
Sweep and damp-mop floors with disinfectant, and spot-clean soiled areas.
Clean restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas.
Perform stripping, waxing, and other wet-floor care.
Use equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers.
Refill restroom dispensers as needed.
Complete assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations.
Perform other required tasks as directed by the Lead Custodian or management.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies regarding safety, customer service, and proper attire.
