About The Position

Custodians are part of the Zoo’s Custodial/Park Services Team and support daily operations by keeping facilities clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The role focuses on custodial duties throughout the Zoo and helps create a safe, comfortable, family-friendly environment for guests. This is an entry-level, part-time position with variable hours of 20–29 per week. A cooperative, team-oriented personality and a friendly, courteous attitude are desirable. Customer service or housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Zoo sanitation, chemical-handling, and safety standards.
• Clean and stock all Zoo restrooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness of buildings, including cleaning windows, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.
• Assist with general storage areas, ensuring they are properly stocked and inventoried.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
