About The Position

Collectors is seeking a Custodian for their PM shift to assist the company with maintaining a clean, organized, functional, and secure building. This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office. The shift schedule is Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm. This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.

Requirements

Custodial experience preferred but not required
Can prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shift
Be detail-oriented with evaluating inventory of supplies
Have a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practices
Flexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.

Responsibilities

Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks
Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings
Work with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are met
Respond to tickets and requests from other departments
Be able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET)
Other duties as assigned
