About The Position

This job is responsible for cleaning rooms, clearing trash, and moving/setting up equipment. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Candidates must meet all applicable federal and State of Ohio employment laws and regulations, including those related to the employment of individuals under 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents and labels.
• Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
• Performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must comply with Ohio Revised Code 3319.39 – Criminal Records Check.
• Must pass a drug screen at time of hire and comply with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.

Responsibilities

• Floor maintenance like sweeping and mopping
• Dusting and disinfecting all surfaces like window sills, locker doors and tops, desk and table tops
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
• Emptying trash
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Move and set up furniture/classroom equipment
• Reports items in need of repair to supervisor
