About The Position

GRBS is seeking a Custodian to join their team at Wayland Union Public Schools. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, with one scheduled weekend per month. The role involves general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash. Additionally, there are leadership responsibilities for supervisor positions, including training new team members, leading the team, and holding them accountable. This is an active role requiring individuals to be on their feet and moving throughout the day. Travel within the school district using personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement and paid drive time is also part of the job. Responsibilities

General cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash.
Ensure all exterior doors are secured by completing perimeter door pulls.
Follow up and close out of customer concerns.
Walk building to ensure quality standards are upheld.
Training of new team members.
Lead, manage, and hold team accountable.
Travel using own vehicle with mileage reimbursement and paid drive time throughout the school district.
Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
