About The Position

GRBS is seeking a Custodian Supervisor for Portage Public Schools. This role requires leadership experience and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, hard-working, and has reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify. This position offers paid mileage reimbursement and travel time. Candidates must possess valid proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Clean the building to map/specs and secure the building
• Communicate with the customers
• Train, lead, manage, and hold team members accountable
• Lead with integrity and humility
• Serve the team members
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
