About The Position

The Custodian communicates verbally and in writing with individuals and groups and performs detailed cleaning of office, restroom, and warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills. The role maintains and organizes cleaning tools and supplies, mixes chemicals for equipment or cleaning, operates and maintains a sweeper-scrubber for warehouse floors, and stocks, cleans, and maintains vending and soda machines. The position is located at 6198 Green Pointe Dr. South, Groveport, Ohio. Various work schedules may be available; details are discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Communicate verbally and in writing with individuals or groups, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Sweep, mop, clean spills, and detail-clean office, restroom, and warehouse areas.
• Stock, clean, organize, and record inventory of cleaning tools and supplies, including janitorial or supply closets and carts.
• Mix chemicals used for equipment or cleaning.
• Operate and maintain a sweeper-scrubber to sweep and mop warehouse floors.
• Stock, clean, and maintain vending and soda machines.
• Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, communicate positively, and help develop and mentor others.
• Maintain integrity, ethics, and compliance, and be accountable for personal and team conduct.
• Serve customers and members, deliver results, and make decisions using reliable information while considering team and stakeholder impacts.
