About The Position

This part-time custodian position is for the 3rd shift, working only on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, totaling 20 hours per week. This shift is ideal for someone seeking a first or second job. The role involves various cleaning and maintenance activities, requiring the ability to understand and follow instructions, read warning signs, and operate cleaning equipment and products. The custodian will work with student employees, communicate with the University community, serve as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety, and maintain product inventory. This position requires independent decision-making to achieve acceptable cleaning standards and involves high-performing, leading-edge practices that value people, partners, and stewardship.
