About The Position

Kohl Wholesale is seeking a full-time 3rd shift custodian to ensure the cleanliness and organization of their warehouse and company grounds, with a specific emphasis on the freezer/cooler facility. The role involves maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to operate a sweeper machine and forklift, and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing maintenance or cleanliness issues, and potentially working outdoors in varying environmental conditions. The job also requires the ability to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions, with sufficient visual and aural faculties to perform assigned tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required.
Able to operate a sweeper machine and forklift.
Reliable, self-motivated and detail oriented.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Exposure to environmental variation and weather changes when working outside the warehouse.
Able to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.
Must have visual and aural faculties sufficient to enable employee to perform all tasks as set forth and assigned to him/her.
Able to work independently as well as part of the team.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and company grounds, with a primary focus at the freezer/cooler facility.
Operate a sweeper machine and forklift.
Recognize and correct problems, request assistance when necessary, or refer them to the appropriate supervisor.
