About The Position

The Custodian position at Allegan Elementary School is a part-time role responsible for all phases of commercial cleaning, setting up and tearing down school spaces, and performing light maintenance and security duties. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents, knowledge of basic cleaning and disinfecting procedures, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of commercial cleaning.
• Set up and tear down various school spaces including cafeteria, gymnasium, and classrooms.
• Perform light maintenance duties.
• Fulfill security responsibilities throughout the building.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
