About The Position

The Part-Time Custodian helps keep a professional facility clean, safe, and welcoming. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $16 per hour. It is described as well-suited to individuals with disabilities seeking meaningful employment opportunities. Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Vacuum carpets, mats, and elevator areas.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and interior surfaces.
• Sweep and maintain floors, stairways, and entryways.
• Clean and disinfect breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Remove cobwebs and keep janitorial closets organized.
• Maintain drinking fountains, sinks, and outdoor entrance areas.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup during rain, snow, and inclement conditions.
• Help ensure the building is secure at the end of each shift.
