About The Position
The Custodian communicates verbally and/or in writing with individuals or groups and performs detailed cleaning of office, restroom, and warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills. The role maintains and organizes cleaning tools and supplies, including janitorial or supply closets and carts, and records inventory as needed. Duties also include mixing chemicals for equipment or cleaning, operating and maintaining a sweeper-scrubber to clean warehouse floors, and stocking, cleaning, and maintaining vending and soda machines. The position is at Sam’s Club in Groveport, Ohio. Various schedules may be available; schedule details will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities
- Communicate verbally and/or in writing with individuals or groups, such as customers, suppliers, or associates.
- Sweep, mop, clean spills, and perform detailed cleaning in office, restroom, and warehouse areas.
- Maintain, organize, and record inventory of cleaning tools and supplies, including janitorial or supply closets and carts.
- Mix chemicals used for equipment or cleaning.
- Operate and maintain a sweeper-scrubber to sweep and mop warehouse floors.
- Stock, clean, and maintain vending and soda machines.
