About The Position
The Bethlehem YMCA is seeking a Custodian to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. As a Custodian, you will have access to our Early Wage Access program, allowing you to draw from your earned wages on demand before payday.
Requirements
- One year prior experience in custodial work preferred.
- Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
