About The Position
Are you looking for a part-time evening cleaning position in Ferndale, MI? This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks including floor care, trash removal, and maintaining supply rooms, with a focus on health and safety regulations. The schedule includes evenings Tuesday through Friday, with longer shifts on Mondays and Thursdays that include garage cleaning.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Ability to operate a floor scrubber
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Trainable
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Pass Background Check
- Complete online application
- Attend new hire Onboarding Orientation
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, dust mopping, and backpack vacuuming floors (3.5 hrs/ngt)
- Pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, laying degreaser, and operating a walk-behind floor scrubber in the garage (2.5 hrs/ngt on Tues & Thurs)
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Ability to work with others efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations
