About The Position
We're looking for a lead custodian for a long-term part-time evening job in Washington Twp, MI. This role involves ensuring cleanliness and security at two nearby locations, including cleaning showroom floors, operating a walk-behind floor scrubber, and covering staff shortages in Sterling Heights by performing tasks such as pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms. The position also requires stocking and maintaining the supply room.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a janitor (1-3 years)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Trainable and good communicator
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable mode of transportation (personal vehicle, public transit) -No Uber, Lyft, etc.

Responsibilities
- Ability to work with others efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform quality control to ensure work is complete and the sites are secure at two nearby locations
- Clean the showroom floors and operate a walk-behind floor scrubber in the garage
- Cover staff shortages as needed at the nearby location in Sterling Heights: Pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms
- Stock and maintain supply room
