About The Position
Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. This role involves cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures, moving light equipment or furniture as needed, and performing various environmental services and cleaning duties. The position is 0.8 FTE with day/evening and variable shifts.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and be flexible with changing demands of service
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in maintaining cleanliness of a hospital, clinic, nursing home, or professional building preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and for staff to provide care
- Cleans and services all areas of the hospital according to established procedures
- Moves light equipment or furniture occasionally per department request
- Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain cleanliness of the hospital
- Other duties as assigned.
