About The Position
Lakeside Book Company is hiring a part-time Custodian to perform general cleaning and custodial duties in the building’s common areas. The role is scheduled for 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the company’s location in Ashland, Ohio. The custodian will keep the custodial closet neat, monitor supplies, identify and report safety hazards, and complete other duties as assigned. The position pays $15.00 per hour and offers on-demand pay.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate clearly to report identified issues.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and custodial duties in common areas of the building.
- Maintain a neat and orderly custodial closet, monitor supplies, and advise when items are needed.
- Assist in examining the facility for safety hazards and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
