About The Position

McGregor Baptist Church is seeking a part-time evening Custodian to help maintain room setups across its campus and keep the church clean. The work includes lifting and storing multiple tables and chairs. This position is 25–28 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be able to continually lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must be able to work the required schedule.
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment with other employees.

Nice To Haves

• Custodial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up classrooms with tables and chairs for school and church events.
• Empty trash from all buildings and dispose of it properly.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, hallways, stairwells, and other areas.
• Mop and vacuum different areas of the buildings.
