About The Position
Oakton Community Center has an immediate opening for two part-time custodians. Our team members receive a complimentary membership to our health club, Fitness First, free pool pass and golf along with other programming discounts.
Requirements
- Must be a responsible and organized adult and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience operating custodial equipment and machines is required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of custodial maintenance experience is preferred.
- The individual we seek must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of the Oakton Community Center.
- Duties may include room set-ups and take-downs; floor mopping; floor vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; trash removal; window washing and other custodial maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assists with closing the building.
- Keeps records and checklists of tasks performed.
- Performs all work to the District’s safety and cleanliness standards.
- Delivers excellent internal and external customer service and works cooperatively with other staff, supervisors and the patrons of the Oakton Community.
