About The Position

All Around Children is seeking a Part-Time Custodian to join their team at their Gold Rated (SUTQ) childcare and preschool center in Middlefield, Ohio. This role involves supporting the center with various tasks, including executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for classrooms, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas, outdoor playgrounds, and entrances. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Tdap and MMR Vaccination.
TB Screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas.
Complete routine trash removal.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies.
Maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed.
Must be able to work evenings only after 6:00PM for 2-3 hours, 3 days a week.
